چکیده مقاله

The present research seeks to explain and describe the role and place of contentment as one of the most important ethical virtues that has embraced many other virtues from the point of view of Islamic sources in the field of resistance economics by utilizing verses and narratives and also, answer the question of what place of satisfaction has been in the verses of the Islamic traditions, and how is it related to the resistance economy? The hypothesis of this research is that this moral virtue can be an important indicator of the realization of the objectives of the resistance economy. Analyzing the verses and narrations indicate that the contentment can cause some suitable effects like as lack of satisfaction, health of religion and body, Chastity, asceticism, guidance and salvation. In the resistance economy, the most important step is to reform the pattern of household consumption. On the other hand, the pattern of consumption in Islam is referred to as the contentment that has favorable results such as lack of satisfaction, the health of religion and body, chastity, purity, asceticism, guidance and salvation. From the point of view of economic theory, the contentment by increasing the amount of savings, provides sufficient resources to finance investment and boosts production and employment; on the other hand, by providing additional resources for the loan, it can satisfy the needs of low-income groups. And thus can play an effective role in reducing poverty, improving the distribution of income, and boosting economic growth and reducing unemployment.
