چکیده مقاله

From the view of many theorists of distributional justice like Hobbes, Locke, Nozick, Hayek, John Rawls and Amartya Sen, the gap between people’s wealth is rooted in a natural situation. The government interference to limit the sanctuary of ownership of the rich in order to alleviate poverty or to expand public welfare is in obvious contradiction to justice and individual property right. Concentration on the redistribution of income and wealth between low-income groups or the penniless results in slowness and inefficiency of the market system and distribution system. For this reason, any kind of action in order to redistribute income and wealth based on the nearly arbitrary concept of “social justice” contradicts freedom and private ownership. Utilizing analytical method, this research is in the position of comparing distributional justice and the Quranic principles and concludes that most of the theories of social justice are based upon natural law, the market, freedom and property rights. In opposition and in the viewpoint of the Holy Quran, the Almighty God is the true owner of the whole existence and has the decree right exclusively. Additionally, the human being is His successor and trustee. Therefore, the human being is obliged to use the sources in economic activities optimally, and is responsible to God, his fellows and, the nature, and will lay the grounds for his prosperity through accomplishing his responsibility correctly.
